Description
English: Detail of upper portion of north exterior wall of William R. Dowse House, located southwest of Comstock in Custer County, Nebraska. The sod house was built in 1900, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It is now open as a museum. The wood at upper left is part of the house's eaves; the original sod construction is visible below that; in the lower portion of the picture is a layer of concrete, applied over the sod. The entire wall of which this is a detail is shown at File:Dowse sod house N wall.JPG.
