Description DIA 19. DE MARZO DE 1808. EN ARANJUEZ. / Caida y prision del Principe de la Paz / El pueblo sublevado corre á su casa y despues de haber practicado las mas eficaces diligencias le halla oculto en un desvan entre unas esteras. La algaraza y gritos de la muchedumbre anuncian á Carlos IV el riesgo de su favorito. Para socorrerle / envia al PRINCIPE FERNANDO, seguro de que el pueblo se contendria a su voz. Llega el PRINCIPE presuroso, y encarga á un esquadron de guardias de corps que le custodie. Mas ni esto ni el ir resguardado entre los caballos impide que el pueblo le arroje / piedras y procure ofenderle con palos, espadas y otros instrumentos que el furor y la casualidad le proporcionan. Resérvale la vida la promesa del PRINCIPE de que será castigado conforme merecieren sus delitos. No obstante llega preso al quartel de guardias de corps con quarenta y siete heridas.
