Object history Ab dem Jahr 2023 sind die drei Gemeinden Hemberg, Neckertal und Oberhelfenschwil unter dem bisherigen Namen Neckertal vereinigt. Gemäss der Abstimmungsbotschaft haben die beteiligten Räte beschlossen, der Bürgerschaft ein komplett neues Wappen vorzustellen. Wie beim bisherigen Wappen lautet auch im neuen das Thema Holz und Wasser: "Unter den Tannen ist der Necker symbolisiert. Die fünf Tannen symbolisieren die fünf ehemaligen Gemeinden Brunnadern, Hemberg, Mogelsberg, Oberhelfenschwil und St. Peterzell. Überhöht ist das Ganze von einer Sonne mit 18 Strahlen. Jeder Strahl symbolisiert ein Dorf oder einen Weiler der ehemaligen Gemeinden." Dann werden diese namentlich aufgezählt.
