English: This image looks west at the Bear Canyon Pluton on the south side of the Red River Canyon, east of Questa, New Mexico, USA. The Bear Canyon Pluton is high-silica granite that intrudes the intracaldera Amalia Tuff of the Questa caldera and precaldera andesite. It is thought to be associated with resurgence of the caldera.
