"Bauernstube in Flandern"; WWI postcard art: Interior of a Belgian country/farm house kitchen(?), as drawn by a German soldier; part of the German occupation forces. Dated 1915; message on back dated January 1916. Several captions on front; message on back written in cursive by another person using different (ink/coloured pencil?) at a later time; all in German, not yet translated (help?). Pen & ink drawing; done on a standard-issue, blank-faced, form-printed German-forces "Feldpostkarte". Signed; not (yet) able to make the name out the properly (i.e.: with certainty); appears to be a solder, as signature includes some kind of company#; message on back seems to be by a different person. 2 examples of works by this artist are/will-be uploaded.
