Poorly developed fibrous collar surrounding the stem at ground level. Spike above ground. Leaf tip acute, margin not undulating, blade flat, 15-35 mm wide. Flowers zygomorphic, purple with white markings. Floral tube 12-17 mm, tepals 25-30 mm, without auricles.
