English: Bale ladies by the road to Turov :), Zhytkavichy, Gomel province, Belarus. Note that also tiny Turov town is located in Zhytkavichy raion. Based on the discussion with photographer + his friend in Oct. 2009, this might be thought as an example of seasonal countryside humor or folk art. Several cars and trucks stopped to take photo of this piece; it was found funny. It shows one little part of real Belarus. There were this kind of humor at least in two different locations by the same road. Creators / authors of these "bale ladies" were not marked. |
