Summary

Description
English: IPA vowel chart of Äynu monophthongs, originally drawn by Straughn, remade in SVG by Mr KEBAB.
Date
Source

Own work, based on the material in Hayasi, Tooru (1999) A Šäyxil vocabulary: a preliminary report of linguistic research in Šäyxil Village, southwestern Xinjiang, Kyoto: Faculty of Letters, Kyoto University.

NOTE: Please verify whether the source actually contains a vowel chart. If all it contains are vague written descriptions of vowels, please move it to Category:Vowel charts that are phonetically imprecise and remove it from Wikipedia articles. Mr KEBAB has checked two other vowel charts that were uploaded by Straughn (namely, KhalajVowels.PNG and Western Yugur vowel chart.png), and they turned out to be original research, as the sources don't contain actual vowel charts at all.

If the source does turn out to contain a proper vowel chart, remove this note and the category Category:SVG vowel charts that need a citation check.
