The Franklin Fire ignited north of Pepperdine University, on Malibu Canyon Road, at approximately 11 p.m. on December 9, 2024. By December 11, it had burned more than 4,000 acres.^[1]

Aftermath

The Franklin Fire has destroyed at least nine structures and damaged seven others.^[1]
