Dead Sea (formerly known as Flycatcher)[2] is a 2024 American crime horror film written and directed by Phil Volken. It stars Dean Cameron, Isabel Gravitt, Koa Tom, Garrett Wareing, Alexander Wraith and Genneya Walton. The film is about a young woman and her two friends that are rescued by a fishing vessel's captain, unaware that the ship harbors has a chilling secret.

Plot
editA jet ski trip takes a tragic turn when a fatal accident leaves Kaya (Isabel Gravitt) and her friends Tessa and Xander fighting for survival in the middle of the open sea.
When they are rescued water by a fishing trawler Kaya and Tessa are relieved as Xander was struck in the head by a jet ski. The rescue turns out to be a trap as Captain Rey and Doctor Hunt are traffickers looking to sell the organs of the injured Tessa and Xander on the black market along with Kaya as slave.
After Xander's organs are harvested and Tessa taken, Kaya escapes and kills Hunt before he can harvest Tessa's organs and she leaves Tessa drifting at sea with a life preserver while she contacts the Coast Guard as Captain Rey hunts her on board the boat.
Rey sneaks up and stabs her on the abdomen but Kaya manages to shoot a flare in his mouth and kill him before tossing the beacon tracker overboard to activate it. The next morning the Coast Guard arrives and rescues her and the still drifting but living Tessa.
