Plot

In 1986, Georgia Quizon, her fiancé Jack, and their daughter Christine are about to fly to Australia, but Georgia's delay in the bathroom causes Jack and Christine to leave without her. She waits until 1989 to get a visa, but a coup attempt prevents her from boarding her flight. Jack breaks up with her. Georgia then marries Don Emong Goloid, a fish sauce factory owner. On their honeymoon, she accidentally causes his death. She inherits his wealth and uses it to search for her daughter in Australia but fails. Georgia adopts a boy named Val and treats him as her own child.

Twenty years later, Christine, now a beautiful young lady in Melbourne, discovers that her father, Jack, still loves Georgia. Determined to prevent their reunion, she travels to the Philippines with her nanny. Georgia, along with Val and her friend Junjun, plans a welcome party for Christine. However, Georgia is held hostage but is rescued after seeing Christine. Nanny develops a crush on Junjun, despite his homosexuality. Christine gathers evidence to make Jack dislike Georgia, initially suspecting Val and Georgia of being lovers. Over time, Christine gets to know her mother better and falls in love with Val. Georgia's rejected suitor, Delfin, informs Christine about Don Emong's death, prompting Jack to come to the Philippines.

Val discovers Christine's plot through her video camera. Christine learns Emong's death was accidental and rushes to the airport with Nanny. Jack arrives first and shows Georgia the video evidence, leading Georgia to disown Christine. A boy named Super Inggo, who has been looking for his mother for so many years, advises Georgia to reunite and reconcile with her daughter. Christine confesses to Jack and they seek Georgia's forgiveness, but she initially rejects them. As Jack, Christine, and Nanny prepare to return to Australia, Georgia has a change of heart. Despite an accident and being injured, Georgia learns Christine hasn't boarded the plane. In the end, Georgia marries Jack.
