The result of the debate was keep. --- RockMFR 18:32, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Template:BDSM dictionary (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Per WP:DICTIONARY. That and there's nothing in this template. Millbrooky (talk) 18:31, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Delete-per WP:DICTIONARY and WP:BLANK, and per not being used.--SRX--LatinoHeat 21:03, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- A search shows it in use on at least this page where the use appears reasonable as a way to document the attribution history of content brought into the encyclopedia from another GFDL-compliant source. You might make an argument that the page it's used on is a mere definition but I don't see how WP:WINAD applies to the template. I'm also not sure why the commenter above thinks it's blank. I see content clearly. I'm not sure the template is all that useful but I don't see a reason to delete it either. Keep unless a better justification for deletion is given. Rossami (talk) 22:37, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep Yes, I created it to document copying material from another site. I actually also used it elsewhere but used subst so you may not realise what I did.--Whipmaster (talk) 12:12, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

The template doesn't work since it tries to call a non-existant subpage. It isn't worth fixing since {{convert}} will do the job. It has only one transclusion & that's on user talk archive. JIMp talk·cont 02:33, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - unused, and redundant to an existing template. Terraxos (talk) 00:22, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so that consensus may be reached.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Nabla (talk) 18:17, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Relisting: How about {{L to gal}}? Probably better to consider both, for symmetry. - Nabla (talk) 18:17, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- I do like symmetry, however, there are a couple of asymmetries in this case.
1. {{L to gal}} works whereas {{gal to l}} doesn't.
2. {{L to gal}} converts to both gallons whereas {{gal to l}} apparently was to assume the imperial one.
3. {{L to gal}} was created by me & {{gal to l}} was a failed attempt at copying me.
The third point means that the template can be {{db-g7
}}ed. So how about it? There are two symmetries in this case.
a. Both are redundant to {{convert}}.
b. Neither are used (I've just seen to that).
Yes, let's delete {{l to gal}} for symmetry ... for tidying up.

- Delete - Both templates are completely redundant. All conversions should be done with {{convert}}. Roguegeek (talk) 18:02, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Comment—I've put {{L to gal}} up for speedy deletion under G7. JIMp talk·cont 18:07, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Deprecate through redirect, not deletion. Rossami (talk) 22:39, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- A redirect would make no sense to the user because the redirect would go to {{convert}} which, in turn, would require the convert-from unit (i.e. "impgal", "USgal" or "U.S.gal") and the convert-to unit (i.e. "L" or "l") to be specified explicitely whereas with all of these {{x to y}} conversion templates the x and y are, naturally, taken as givens. Moreover, as I understand it, the point of deprecation through a redirect is allow users to adjust to a new way of doing things. There is no need for such adjustment in this case since the template has never worked. JIMp talk·cont 00:47, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Comment This template could go under WP:SPEEDY#T3.
- It's not employed in any useful fashion, it can't be since it doesn't work.
- If it did work it would be a hardcoded instance of {{convert}} which provides the same functionality.

- Template:CvMrB (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Unused personal warning template of a retired user. Not in current schema. MBisanz talk 07:18, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Comments - actually, it is in use with Wiki's WP:AWB, per User:Pb30/AWB subst. Unless it is not used in AWB anymore, it can be deleted, but now it is in scheme.--SRX--LatinoHeat 21:07, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- The AWB schema is merely a list of all templates, so AWB picks them up when it scans pages. Whenever a template is red-linked on that page, it is removed from the page. Since AWB scrapes that page each time it loads to know which templates to subst, there will be no lag issues. MBisanz talk 21:35, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

This is no longer considered to be a valid license tag on commons. See commons:Commons:Deletion requests/Template:PD-PCL. Pleases rename as Template:PCL which can be used as a source tag but images tagged only with this template should be considered not to have a license. /Lokal_Profil 10:02, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

- Not really. It would also require the deletion (or no license tagging) of all images tagged with this template and no other license template. /Lokal_Profil 19:25, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
