Discussion

Code is available at User:AnomieBOT/source/tasks/WikiProjectTagger.pm. Subcategories are not processed. User, MediaWiki, Help, and Category namespace pages will not be tagged. The code first looks for an existing {{physics}} banner to add the task force parameter to; failing that, it looks for a {{WPB}} or {{WPBS}} to add the new banner to; and failing that, it puts the banner after any other WikiProject banners and Talk header templates at the top of the talk page.
