This uses a couple of tricks and other functions. First, for your username, you would be using the pipe trick which basically returns the pagename without the namespace in this case. Secondly, I've gone through and prepended a SUBST: to all of your magic words and parser functions so that only the one that is selected and displayed on the page will actually show up in the edit box on that page for all subsequent edits. Try it out and I'm pretty sure that you'll like the new version. This version of course does use 252 out of 255 available characters, so expansion would have to be considered carefully. That was a workaround I was alluding to above. {{subst:____}} still works from such a page and makes the resulting output look much better. You should also be aware of that WP:SIG#NT discourages that sort of thing and I recommend if you wish to continue doing that, you should request some kind of page protection for your signature. Hmm, I'll just move to code to a js page. As for the {{subst:____}}, one would have to place a bunch of <noinclude> tags in there, thus making it one of the reasons I am not doing it. It is actually short enough to not need to use a "User template" page. You could put it right in your preferences. If wrapping it in <noinclude>...</noinclude> tags is your only concern, I would be happy to do that for you (I have a shorcut button that inserts <noinclude>SUBST:</noinclude> for me in one click making it super easy). I have it in there because my former sig took up much more space. The addition <noinclude>...</noinclude> is not my concern, if I ever edit it I find it a pain to look through the tags, however, I may use this:

Ah, I don't mind. I actually created that so when I review pages I could type {{User:TechFilmer/ref}} and they could have a quick and simple guide. If you have any other ideas just tell me and I can make a guide for them. I do like UBXs and if I need to I will use one of yours. Thanks for all of your help! The way I see it, if you want to get rid of clutter, start with some of the pictures essentially showing the exact same scenarios. How many pictures of rhinos grazing or wandering are needed exactly?
