Click OK
editCan you find anything to add to Click OK article? --Easyas12c 08:55, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I corrected the song names
- I emailed the photographer and asked him, if he was Interested in uploading
- the image to Wikipedia (or any other which would be usefull).
- If he would then ofcourse we would have the note of him being the photographer.
- The link doesn't point directly to the image, but to his page where he can
- promote him self, if he wishes. Even the image has his website url in it.
- If he asks personally I still would note him on the Wikipedia page even, if
- it's not ok by Wikipedia rules. Someone else could then remove it.
- How ever he hasn't answered me anything.
- I think it would be fair, if he uploaded an image and got credited of it.
- I hope he will, but it has been a while since I sent him the email.
- I removed the first link
- Can you add something to the article from the second link.
- I think we'd better leave it in the article anyway because it
- has the picture. It is two of them right?
- It's sad that pictures are this hard to get.
- Does the article have the group member names correct?

Proposal: better(?) way :o) to implement Babel. (russian language box needs more fine tuning)
- YES, this is a good idea, since the language everybody understands here is English. Otherwise, the Finnish language box might just be Hebrew... ;-) --Janke | Talk 21:19, 31 July 2005 (UTC)

Interwikies
editHi,
Thanks for your comments. I am one of the interwiki bot developers. My recent code allowed the bot to fix all interwikies at once, as long as there is an account in that language. There I'm still (I'm sure) bugs lurking in the code, so any help is appreciated. Please leave them at my en: page. Thanks!

I looked at the list you posted in the bug report, and it has some strange entries, such as roa-rup, bug, gay, etc. Where did you get them? There are no wikies like that (AFAIK). --Yurik 20:58, 9 July 2005 (UTC)
- First few words where this list is from. I made this list for my own interwiki sorter and it started after seeing Interwiki link sorter -tool (written in PHP). Seeing that this tool (at the time) didn't use full list of wikis, I decided to make similar one, but in JavaScript (faster) and "fix" the sorting on the way. I found the tool in Finnish wiki and there I found also list of all wikipedias: here (using this as base I've been updating mine on the way with info from different sources (meta, other wikis, etc.)). Now looking it over, you are right, some of the wikis doesn't exist ... yet :o): roa-rup: does, bug, gay not (these are proposed).
- In my tool "homepage" is the same list with links and there can be seen which wikis exists at the moment, so we can see that in my list there's 5 extras. Extras doesn't influence work of my tool, as it's sorts only input (no checking), for wikibot the story is probably different and it's probably needed to remove from configuration.
- Full list of existing wikis can be found in meta (meta:List of Wikipedias) as you probably know :o)
- P.S: it's nice to see that you have updated your bot for work in Estonian wiki, but I have to point out that there is still few updates I'd be happy to see, (see [1]) namely Bahasa Indonesia is still in language code location, and Norsk (bokmål) is changed from no to nb (though wiki software corrects this on the fly) --TarmoK 08:26, 11 July 2005 (UTC)
Interwiki sorting order
editWhen talking with a vi: user, their order is simiar to et:. It can be merged into one. I guess that you are responsible to the order in et:. Please visit my talk page in meta and leave your opinion. -- ChongDae 19:29, 28 July 2005 (UTC)
Just a heads-up: some new Wikipedia editions have been created; I've listed the new ones over at User talk:TarmoK/TKtools. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs, blog) 03:11, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
What used to be be: has been moved to be-x-old:; be: is now home to the Normative Belarusian Wikipedia. At this point, both wikis have identical native names (perhaps "normative" and "alternative" need to be translated soon). I would list be-x-old: right under be: for the time being. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 06:11, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
No problem. Actually, cbk-zam
has just been changed to Zamboangueño, so it needs to be moved down now. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 03:17, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Hakka
editEven more additions for the interwiki sorter. (It's been down, by the way, but the port5 mirror is still up.) – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 02:20, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
editHello TarmoK! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Olivia Merilahti - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:58, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Stewards doing xwiki admin check
editHi TarmoK. Stewards are undertaking further works on inactive admins through the wikis, and I see that you are
- admin at et.wiki.x.io
- admin at et.wiktionary.org
at those wikis you have been inactive for many years. If you do not wish to maintain those rights, then they can be resigned at m:SRP; if you do wish to maintain those rights, it would help if you could do some editing on that wiki when we get to do formal notifications to those wikis. Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 15:30, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
