Your draft

edit

Your draft in your sandbox won't be reviewed until you submit it for review. I have added a button at the top of the draft for you to do so. ~Anachronist (talk) 05:47, 20 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

I will add that you should read Wikipedia:The answer to life, the universe, and everything and modify your draft article. It will not pass review in its current state because the cited sources don't demonstrate that the subject is notable.

  • Some sources are interviews, which don't count toward notability of the subject
  • Other sources are reviews of the book, not coverage of the author
  • None of the sources provide any in-depth coverage of the author, just small details

You might consider recasting the article to be about the book that has received a lot of coverage, instead of about the author. ~Anachronist (talk) 07:48, 20 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

I have submitted the article to the Articles for Creation process. To do this yourself in future, add {{subst:submit}} to the top of your draft article. As the guidance at the top of your article - User:Rajveer90/sandbox/I am also a human - says, please now be patient as it can take some time for pages to be reviewed. How much it takes for accepting draft

edit

I have submitted draft of book I am also a human for three or four months ago for review. It has been declined two times by editors as it lacks references but two months ago I used two references more but there is no response since two months. It is still in draft. It is still showing that it can take eight weeks from the last two months. Kindly help me in this issue.

They don't show only mention if you clearly read the Policy Times article or Diverge Media, it clearly shows about book. Like in the policy times article it talks about the book and says that ‘Why Does A Man Rape?’; Uncovering the Dark Truths behind the Heinous Act of Rape. Moreover, other articles also talk about the book it's just they have mentioned the author in the beginning and then they have talked about the book but that doesn't mean it is only a mention. In addition, every article shows that what is inside the book and why the author has written it like "This book addresses some taboo and controversial issues related to rape. Why do people rape? Who to blame for rapes? Is rape confined to the human race? Is this new in this generation or are there any references to such incidents in our history? Such questions are answered fluently in his book, 'Why does Man rape'. Kindly tell me your review on this so that I can resubmit it @Bilorv Rajveer90 (talk) 21:42, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello Tatupiplu'

There are more than fifteen references of big media houses like Forbes, Hindustan times, Statesman, Mid day etc. Nabhit Kapur has recieved several awards and has enough information on google. How the references cannot pass for Wikipedia article. I understand there are two or three references which can be same but not all links are same and PR.

I will delete those references, modify it and submit for review. Kindly have a look on that. Rajveer90 (talk) 04:19, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Rajveer90, The Subject is not notable. Forbes, Hindustan Times, Statesman, Mid Day are all press releases. Tatupiplu'talk 04:26, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Tatupiplu'

There are more than fifteen references. What about them?

Links of media houses like Times of Africa, The top 100 magazine, Muslim mirror, The Week, Sunday Guardian live. They all are notable resources. The pictures and content clearly shows that he received the awards. I will delete the HT, Mid day and Forbes references, but still draft has more than ten references which shows its notability. Rajveer90 (talk) 04:37, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Rajveer90, No, all of them are PR. For Sunday Guardian Live & The Week. I've seen such PR articles before. Tatupiplu'talk 04:49, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Tatupiplu' All of them cannot be PR. He is a notable person. I have spent a lot of time doing the research and find information about him. His organization Peaceful Mind working tirelessly during this Covid 19. And when I came to know about him. I thought of making Wikipedia article.

Moreover, PR articles are those in which newspaper or media houses say that they dont belong to the article but there are articles which is written by the newspaper editors. I have made other Wikipedia articles and have seen PR references too. I have deleted the Forbes, Mid day, Statesmen all these references.

I will submit it because I checked other people psychologists articles too and can say surely that not all them are PR. Rajveer90 (talk) 04:56, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello Deb,

I was not promoting Nabhit Kapur at all. I don't know the person personally. I was not advertising him. And I don't know why you think that I was promoting him. I understood that some of the references were PR media links but I have deleted them when it was rejected.

I don't have any internal or external relationship with the person. I have created other articles too and I can assure that article was not influenced by him. Moreover, he is a notable psychologist. I attended his seminar once in my university and then searched about him. He is founder of Peaceful Mind Foundation registered under UN. He is the recipient of several awards which includes Rex Karamveer Chakra, instituted by the UN, India, African Peace Laureate, African Union and African Child foundation, Nigeria etc. Moreover, he is an author of book titled "Pyschology" available on Amazon.

In addition, I haven't received any money or compensation from anyone for creating Wikipedia articles. And I don't believe in taking money as Wikipedia is a reliable source and if I create the articles by taking money, it wouldn't be right.

I have read all the points that you mentioned. I can create draft again and wont add any PR media links and the content which shows that it is promotional article. Kindly suggest me if you know anything or want me to make any changes.

Thank you Deb Rajveer90 (talk) 17:46, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Here's an example of promotional wording: "He is perhaps the psychologist in the contemporary world, and the only one from India, leading this remarkable movement to make mental health a household name." Apart from the poor English, that seems to be something you just made up - it's not justified by the content of either of the articles you've quoted as references. Deb (talk) 18:14, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much for sharing this Deb

I will again create the draft and delete all the content which cannot be justified by the references. I will add only that content which can be justified with reliable media references not PR.

Will that be fine?

If you like to suggest me anything more than I would be grateful. It's a great learning experience from you.

Thank you again Deb Rajveer90 (talk) 18:26, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello Umakant Bhalerao

Nabhit Kapur is famous pyschologist from India. I haven't provided any PR references and haven't promoted in any way. TedTalks, APN news, The Week, The Times of Africa, they all are reliable and good media sources.

If you think this was written more like in a advertisement then please mention the content. I will change the content, write from neutral point of view and then submit it.

Looking forward to your valuable response.

I don't know whether he is notable or not , as i have not read through all the sources yet. I have not declined your submission due to lack of independent/reliable references or notability concerns. It was declined because the submission reads like an advertisement, particularly the Professional life section, and needs a rewrite to conform to WP:NPOV standards. Wikipedia is not a place for advertising. The sole purpose of it is to create promotional-free articles.Umakant Bhalerao (talk) 14:53, 17 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Umakant Bhalerao

I am aware of this fact that Wikipedia don't accept promotional articles. I have changed the professional section and deleted some lines which looked like promotional. Kindly have a look again and let me know your views.

Please guide me again if any content looks like an advertisement in the professional life section. It would be easy for me to rewrite and then submit for review.

Looking forward to your valuable response.

Nabhit Kapur moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Nabhit Kapur, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
