2011 Futures

edit

Sorry to ask a possible silly question but how do I know if a player is notable and can be written in red or not? Thanks for the answer. Sorry had forgotten to add my name.Catgamer (talk) 18:48, 6 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sorry PL Alvarez , but I do not know how to find out in little time if a player is notable or not so I just add the players that have a page as notable and you have to add the rest of the work I have not already done (if you recommend me to not continue editing the Futures give a me hint and I will stop with it).Catgamer (talk) 22:23, 10 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I have another question up to which date (nd tournament) have you updated the statistical things (because I would like to help you in updating this)? Thanks for your answer.Catgamer (talk) 09:33, 12 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Sorry to disturb you once more but did I make a mistake in my additions to the futures , because you have deleted many of my additions. Thanks for your answer.Catgamer (talk) 15:57, 18 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I have a question once again: When I am editing the Futures then the column about the winning nations has problems to show me all the winning countries. It does not show the last 3 or 4 flags + country names and instead shows 'Template:Flagteam' . What have I done wrong and could you help fixing this problem?? Thanks again for your help. Catgamer (talk) 10:53, 4 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Do you have the same problem that it does not show you all the country flags in the statistics column or is it just a problem of mine??Thanks for your helpCatgamer (talk) 18:40, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, I have another question, do you control the Futures updates I am typing in or not?? Thanks for your answer Catgamer (talk) 21:31, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ok someone needs to delete or redirect the Sao Paulo one. Kante4 (talk) 14:47, 2 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at 2011 Australian Open – Boys' Singles. Once the block has expired, you're welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Challenger

Hey, let´s just wait until the draws are made before creating the singles and doubles article. Kante4 (talk) 17:51, 23 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Same for ATP/WTA, why can´t you wait? Kante4 (talk) 19:25, 9 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
In my opinion the article shouldu be made as soon as the seeds are announced/chosen. SellymeTalk 22:16, 9 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

2011 Qatar Ladies Open Draws

edit

Please don't remove the content from the lead this is needed to provide context to an unknown reader who might just stumble upon the article. Afro (Talk) 16:38, 25 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Qualifying

edit

Yep, we should. Kante4 (talk) 17:44, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

2011 Challenger of Dallas

edit

Once again as I said above do not remove the content from the lead its needed to provide context to the average reader who might stumble upon the article, just because its a tennis draw does not mean its excluded from WP:LEAD nor WP:SUMMARY, the content remaining there is supported by policies it isn't up to debate, etc etc. Afro (Talk) 22:17, 1 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Once again I'd like to remind you regarding the draws of 2011 Shimadzu All Japan Indoor Tennis Championships for example that Tennis draws are NOT excluded from WP:LEAD. Since this isn't the first time I've had to address this with you and specifically your edit here this constitutes as WP:REMOVAL. Afro (Talk) 15:36, 8 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Andres Molteni

edit

This article has been created and deleted twice as non-notable, so I guarantee it shall happen again. Wait until he features in an ATP World Tour event. I heavily expanded the second version of the article, but no matter how well-written it is, the man isn't notable yet. Just a word of warning! SellymeTalk 12:06, 6 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Little question to you

edit

PL Alvarez, as you are a very active member of Wikipedia I'd like to ask you a question about editing tennis results. I always see these long 'minuses' when I look at the final results of a tournament, could you please tell me, if it is no problem for you, how to write these long 'minuses', because as you see it when I am editing a final result of a tournament I only know how to create the small ones. (I hope my question is understandible, because I am unfortunately no native speaker of English.) Thanks in advance, catgamer.Catgamer (talk) 21:55, 6 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I believe you're talking about en dashes versus em dashes. There are several "alt codes" available (Which I can't remember off the top of my head), but your best bet is to just type it normally, and wait for one of the numerous bots/scripts (I have a script myself) to fix them, if need be. How are you doing? I notice you say Liam Broady passes WP:NTENNIS - I can't see how from looking at both his junior and men's tour stats - it's probably right under my nose but what criterion would it be?   Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from 2011 Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted.
