Thanks for your recent comment regarding recentism on the article about William Barr. Thanks, Princetoniac. This article is truly a case study in recentism. The subject of the article has a long and notable career, but this small slice of it gets an inordinate amount of attention because these events are occurring right now - so every little detail gets crammed in there as if this was the only thing that ever mattered about the subject. The news cycle on this now seems to be tapering off, meaning that about a month of frenzy completely displaced decades of notable material... Cosmic Sans (talk) 15:56, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
