Bad Girls Club (season 16)

edit

I have again redirected Bad Girls Club (season 16). At a minimum, season articles should include a sourced episode table, per MOS:TV. Only the cast names and the casting special date are known at this point. Virtually everything else in the article, even the casting special title, constitute original research, which is not permitted. There is a discussion at Talk:Bad Girls Club (season 16) that you should review before recreating the article again. --AussieLegend () 18:58, 21 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Non-free images

edit

Please do not recreate deleted material. The consensus at Wikipedia:Files_for_discussion/2016_May_25#File:The_Real_Housewives_of_New_Jersey_season_7_cast.png was that you'll need to find a free-use image of these actresses if you want/need to include them in an article. If you continue to edit against consensus and against the Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria, your account will be blocked for disruption. czar 18:47, 27 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:The Real Housewives of Cheshire season 3 cast.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:The Real Housewives of Cheshire season 3 cast.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Attribution for copying

edit

You have been warned about this before, but seem to have ignored it. When you copy content from one Wikipedia page to another, proper attribution is required by copyright law. I have provided the attribution for the last four splits you have done from List of The Real Housewives of New York City episodes now, but in the future, please take care to provide proper attribution according to WP:CWW. – nyuszika7h (talk) 11:42, 1 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

nyuszika7h Actually I haven't ignored it because I've stated in some of my summaries that I have copied information from other pages, as per it says at minimum to do so. I have completely blanked when copying the episodes so I fully acknowledge that and I'll be sure to remember to state copied on those in future. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Kelege (talk) 12:09, 1 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
You need to state the exact page name you copied to and from in the edit summaries, e.g. "Content WP:SPLIT to Bar" and "Content WP:SPLIT from Foo". (and ideally also add the {{Copied}} template on the talk pages, though that's not strictly necessary). nyuszika7h (talk) 12:13, 1 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
Cheers for letting me know the procedure, I'll be sure to do that in my future edits. Kelege (talk) 12:17, 1 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
Hey, nyuszika7h, I've given credit in regards to the pages The Real Housewives of New York City (season 5) and (season 6) from the episodes page and I was just hoping if you could check if I did it correctly. Please and thanks in advance. Kelege (talk) 16:39, 2 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Kelege: Looks good to me, you accidentally wrote season 5 in the copied template instead of season 6, but the diff was working anyway because the title is just an informational part and revision IDs are unique. I fixed it, anyway. nyuszika7h (talk) 16:53, 2 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Nyuszika7H: Oh haha my bad, thanks again for all your help! Kelege (talk) 16:55, 2 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Pointless and non-sourced 000s

edit

Why did you put the ",000" suffix back for Finding Prince Charming? It's not in the source, is not done that way on any other table and is completely not needed. It would be cleaner to use a "k" suffix or a "0." prefix with millions in the header or "0.###M" if you don't like thousands. 119.224.39.131 (talk) 23:34, 26 September 2016 (UTC) Initially I had it to millions and had no "000", and just had it as "0.123". Address it with those who want it to thousands because my history on Wiki is it's either millions or just the total, which includes the (000). Also I'd suggest you make an account if you want to talk to people, it makes it easier for others to talk to you back and remember who you are. Kelege (talk) 04:08, 27 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

The real housewives of new jersey

edit

Hay kelege, dont you think that Nicole should be listed under Amber on the table of cast members, because they are credited together (side-by-side) in the opening credits, because they're twins Zhyboo (talk) 20:56, 7 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Oops, i mean under Teresa!!!!!! Zhyboo (talk) 20:58, 7 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Zhyboo: Nope. They way they're listed in the opening is due to artistic/editing reasons rather than billing, hence why The Real Housewives goes by alphabetical order as it's the most logical thing following billing. We can't determine the billing order with the franchise as the opening is forever changing. Although they're credited together, they are still two separate women with separate surnames and were featured separately throughout the season with different story-lines revolving their relationships etc. Also they have their own individual pages on Bravo (http://www.bravotv.com/people/teresa-aprea & http://www.bravotv.com/people/nicole-napolitano) and are featured as separate people rather than a duo, which leads to being treated as a duo in the opening more so a creative concept than a billing/credited one. The real housewives

edit

Hey kelege could you add notes in the list of episodes for the housewives shows. I just would like for you to note down when their added to the opening credits, when they first appear, when they don't appear, when they guest star and even when the "friends" first appear, I would like you to start with new york city, New jersey and atlanta first, I haven't really watched the others yet, and I don't have time to go through episodes right now, because I don't have hulu to go through all of them or a computer to edit with, so I'll need someone else to do it. Just like with love and hip hop, where they also add the notes Zhyboo (talk) 22:37, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Usually in the synopsis of the corresponding season it is mentioned. For example The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (season 6), it states when Girardi and Edwards made their debut that season. On The Real Housewives of New York City (season 3) it is stated in cast about Sonja Morgan making her debut as well. Just as when a housewives departs the series half way through it is also stated, for example see The Real Housewives of Atlanta (season 5) in regards to Zolciak. I don't think notes are all that necessary when it is explained in the article pertaining to their individual season. Kelege (talk) 22:46, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

But what's so confusing is that Sonja isn't featured at all in any of the season 3 casting photo and some people don't really noticed her as being credited as a main cast member in the opening credits Zhyboo (talk) 22:59, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

She and Jennifer Gilbert did actually have cast photos taken, but they weren't grouped with the other ladies, similar to how the "friends" are done now. I found them online when doing the article for the season. It's similar to Quinn Fry in season 3 and Lynne Curtin in season 4, on Orange County. It was just they way they did things back then, however it is stated on the main page of their series as well as the corresponding seasons. Also mentioned on the List of The Real Housewives cast members that they made their debut following the premiere of the season. Kelege (talk) 23:13, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Wow, thanks I didn't even know that!! Zhyboo (talk) 23:38, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Probably because she didn't leave amicability to begin with. Her and Kroy storming off, pushing the cameras etc. Not to mention she had her own spin-off at that point and had photos already taken, and she was pregnant etc. Probably a whole mix of things. 👍😃😘💕💕 Zhyboo (talk) 05:43, 12 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hey kelege, isn't there a big similarity between a title sequence and opening credits, because they called a title sequence the opening credits too. They also refer to the title sequence as the intro and opening sequence. Zhyboo (talk) 02:48, 17 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Oh totally, it's opening credits because they credit who is main characters- but it doesn't reflect the starring power/billing rates of said characters and that's the issue. Each season it credits who is main characters but it is forever changing in what particular order. Then at the end of the crediting the cast image doesn't always reflect the crediting as well. Going of the intro would be a lot of speculation and arguably original research. Kelege (talk) 03:17, 17 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Oh, okay thanks a lot!! 😘❤👍 Zhyboo (talk) 03:25, 17 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Oh, I'm in America, so yeah, but thanks a lot!! 😉👍 Zhyboo (talk) 13:39, 4 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Kelege, could you list of The housewives in order of their original opening credits order, as the rules does state cast members should be listed in original broadcasting credits. Thanks Zhyboo (talk) 14:08, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • @Zhyboo: We could but as it has been discussed previously, cast ordering changes each season so the reflection of the first season is becauase of editing not star power/billing hence why it's always been done alphabetically. With the ever changing intro (a creative decision) it's most logical to feature it alphabetically instead. Kelege (talk) 14:18, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, but we it goes along with the wiki rules, so it guess its definelty a good idea. Zhyboo (talk) 15:03, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • As I said, it's been discussed before and it was decided that it didn't follow suit of the purpose of crediting. If you want to create a discussion for it go ahead because something like that would probably require more than just our opinions seeing as it was already discussed. Kelege (talk) 16:00, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I just was adding notes in the lists like with love and hip hop and basketball wives. If the edits are redundant, could you undo them for me? Since I can only make mobile edits at the moment, its kind of very difficult to undo them, as it was already difficult to try adding them. Zhyboo (talk) 03:20, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Lisa Rinna of Beverly Hills was not a guest in season 4 a brief cameo on a red carpet doesn't make her a guest just like Denise Richards in season 5. We need the current main and former main housewives because it tells people who is and isn't on currently and it will be neat and organized. Stop trying to control everything my goodness. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Editman25 (talkcontribs) 12:50, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • @Editman25: First of all; the same thing is done for many other wives who have previously appeared, eg: Dolores in RHONJ, Meghan in RHOC, Ana in RHOM and Ddorinda in RHONY. She wouldn't have been featured as a guest if she didn't become full-time, now that she is her prior guest appearance on the series is noted. Secondly; as I stated on the edit I prefer the way the timeline was done but it actually violates the procedure of timelines on Wikipedia; which isn't my opinion it's a majority that enforced it. Plus I didn't initially alter it either, @Pinchofhope: did and I've just enforced the changes made. I resent the fact that you're claiming only my changed are correct, seeing as I don't revert many edit that are in fact constructive and follow the rules. @Mymis: frequently edits the pages realting to the franchise and I don't undo them, in fact I actually thank him for his posts. Kelege (talk) 13:36, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
The best way, always, is to start a discussion if someone disagrees with a certain change, and try not to revert an edit more than once. When it comes to the timeline, per WP:MOSTV, the cast members should be listed in order that they first appeared. We should not focus on who's on the show currently, because the article covers the entire series, not just the most recent season. And about the guest stars, I am not sure because I have not seen all the episodes to confirm their role, and cannot find any guideline about it, but I'd say that if a person appeared on the show very briefly for a second and did not even speak, probably not worth mentioning. In films, for instance, the person would be considered an "extra" and would not be listed in the credits. Mymis (talk) 13:54, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
No we don't need current / former divisions. Its obviously by looking at the chart who is still on the show and who is not. Like Mymis said, the article is an OVERVIEW of the ENTIRE series. Stop trying to start an edit war and follow the Wiki rules. Pinchofhope (talk) 21:47, 24 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

The survey should take 10-20 minutes to answer, and your individual responses will not be made public. The survey is delivered through Google Forms. The privacy policy for the survey describes how and when Wikimedia collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from survey participants and can be found here:

Proposed deletion of Mariah Huq

edit

The article Mariah Huq has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Proposed deletion of Mariah Huq

edit

The article Mariah Huq has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced article that fails to credibly assert notability of the subject

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. AussieLegend () 16:12, 15 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
