Short Desc on Redirect Pages

edit

Hi! I'm @IAmChaos:. I noticed that on the page Risk-free interest rate, you added a shortdescription. While you are allowed to add these to redirect pages, I wanted to remind you that they should be placed UNDER the first line of the redirect like such:

#REDIRECT [[Target]]
{{Short description|Your text here}}

Please see Wikipedia:Short description#Short descriptions on redirect pages if you have any questions. Happy Editing--IAmChaos 03:48, 24 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but i seem to be too ignorant to understand all this at present—but hopefully I’ll learn soon. Thanks for your attempt to educate. ( I’ve made several hundred very simple content edits but without learning much about Wiki rules). JdelaF (talk) 00:47, 22 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mostek, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page PMOS. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

December 2024

I honestly can't tell what you meant to do with your recent edits of Dicing tape. You have been around for quite a while, made many edits, and generally look like you know what you're doing. However, at this article, you removed good content, added a lot of errors, damaged the formatting of an image, and said in the summary that you'd added a reference, which you didn't.

If you were a new user, I would have warned you for vandalism without a second thought. I'm not sure what happened here, but please be mindful with your changes, and please use Preview, at the very least, to make sure your edits have not damaged page readability. Thank you, Jessicapierce (talk) 23:17, 10 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
