Serious misquotings and falsifications of sources.editHi. There is a major problem with the present Chams article as it is full of falsifications and misquoting of its sources. Until yesterday I had no idea about but in a day (until now) I found 14!! such cases in that article, indicating a consistent effort possibly from more than one editors. I really don't know how to manage the situation because I believe that they are many more such cases. I started to report the cases one by one to the discussion page and to edit the article but the falsifications are too many to do it by myself before an edit war will start again to stop any real work. Since you are the arbitrator can you please take a look to the discussion and the already mentioning cases (I will give at least eight more) to make your checking and to tell me how to manage the situation. Can we freeze the article so to examine one by one every source on it? It is impossible to do it by myself when every day new references and edits are adding (by the same person), together with the hot debate in the discussion page. About the discussion I indeed believing that is used as an excuse to leave the article as it is. See for example what happened with the Igoumenitsa discussion (much to the same issue about Chams)[1]. You will see much the same story. When I firstly edited the article the same persons asked me to go to discuss it before. After the usual hot debate of the first days, now I am taking one answer every week and after 21 days of almost no participation, the discussion is dead much the same as the article as we have “no consensus” to edit it. They simply don't care any more since the article is now effectively locked having not a single undesirable word. They have ten days to participate, having to answer a week before their last post. Thanks and sorry for the trouble. --Factuarius (talk) 06:25, 25 June 2009 (UTC) HelpeditShall you please intervine in Talk:Cham Albanians cause it is becoming a mess. QueryeditCan a Private company abulance use its organisation name on it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Krishnendupm1986 (talk • contribs) 04:32, 28 July 2009 (UTC) Drop-down menus requesteditI like your drop-down-menus gadget, but there's one change I'd like to see. Since the top menu items under both "user" and "page" open up submenus when "mouseovered", they really should be placed last in their respective menus. It's hard to avoid opening up the submenus when you want to select something below them, such as page history or user contributions. It gets a little annoying after a while... Otherwise, great job on the gadget. - dcljr (talk) 16:20, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Cactions req.editI might be missing it because it's 2am, but could you consider adding the Toolserver SUL utility to the user cactions menu? Drop down menus - a stupid question?editI'm not getting the personalised shortcuts portlet underneath the toolbox. Here is what I have in my monobook.js (in its entirety): <removed> What am I doing wrong? I love the drop-down bit - everything else is working apart from the shortcuts portlet. User:Haza-w/cactions.js and the Vector skineditAm I doing something wrong? I copied my monobook.js to vector.js, and most things are working perfectly from what I can see - but I don't get the shortcuts appearing :( Is there anyway I can get this to work - or will I just need to stick with monobook when the default skin changes tomorrow? -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 12:29, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
Account creator flageditHi Haza-w, I wanted to let you know that I have removed your Account Creator flag because it appears that you have been inactive from creating account for almost a year. Per the policy on WP:PERM the flag is removed if you are no longer active in the Account Creation process. If you would like to become active again please feel free to contact an ACC admin for access and you can always re-request the Account creator flag at WP:PERM or my talk page if you need it again in the future. Thanks for past help in this area and let me know if you have any quesitons! James (T C) 15:37, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Te Amo.JPGeditPLEASE NOTE:
Page menu disappears when easyblock script installededitHaza-w - first off, thank you for creating the user and page menu gadget in preferences. Until recently I thought this was just standard for all users, as it is so convenient. After my RfA I installed many scripts and noticed that with only two scripts installed, cactions and User:Animum/easyblock.js parts of cactions seem to break. For example, on my own user talk page - the user tab will (usually) still show, as will the block tab from easy block - but the [page] tab always disappears. No errors show in the java console, and I have stepped through the cactions code and I can see that the function for building the page menu is successfully getting called (as on all other pages) but it is somehow subsequently getting hidden. Any thoughts? I'll notify Animum about this as well. 7 23:59, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Our problem was, as import our menus into Vector. Far from being solved, nevertheless I saw that your current captions.js runs under Vector too, I installed it immediately and I'm studying it (an hard job since I write python but I'm deeply ignorant about js and AJAX). But I'll find some much more expert friend. :-) Can you fix please a broken link into tl|info of captions.js page, pointing to a wrong doc page? I'd like to fix it personally, but I can't. You are now a ReviewereditHello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC). Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here. If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. ~~Ebe123~~ (+) talk User tab optionseditHi It seems there have been some changes to the User tab drop down list, as I no longer have the user stats options. Was this something done on purpose, an interfering other script, or a change somewhere else that has had a knock on effect? Thanks Chaosdruid (talk) 17:14, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Invitation to events: bot, template, and Gadget makers wantededitI thought you might want to know about some upcoming events where you can learn more about MediaWiki customization and development, extending functionality with JavaScript, the future of ResourceLoader and Gadgets, the new Lua templating system, how to best use the web API for bots, and various upcoming features and changes. We'd love to have power users, bot maintainers and writers, and template makers at these events so we can all learn from each other and chat about what needs doing. Check out the Chennai event in March, the Berlin hackathon in June, the developers' days preceding Wikimania in July in Washington, DC, or any other of our events. Best wishes! - Sumana Harihareswara, Wikimedia Foundation's Volunteer Development Coordinator. Please reply on my talk page, here or at mediawiki.org. Sumanah (talk) 16:18, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
User:Haza-w/Drop-down menuseditHello Haza-w, I have been using your dropdown menu gadget for some time and I was curious, is it possible to keep the default page tabs that are removed by User:Haza-w/Drop-down menus without affecting the dropdown menu display. I tried setting itabs to false, but that removes the "Links to Rfx", "Edit count", "Edit summaries", and "Edit analysis" links in the "User" dropdown menu and it also removes the "History", "Move page", "[un]watch", and "Page analysis" buttons from the "Page" dropdown menu. So I was wondering if it were possible to keep these buttons from being removed from the dropdown menus, while at the same time keeping the default page tabs (move, watch, history). Thank you, Alpha_Quadrant (talk) 16:53, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Problem with watch/unwatch page function in drop-down menu gadgeteditHi. A few months ago, the "watch page" / "unwatch page" function in the drop-down menu gadget started giving me an annoying new page asking me to click on a "Yes" button to confirm my request to watch or unwatch a page. The default "watch" / "unwatch" button (displayed when your gadget is not being used) doesn't do this. I did some poking around and believe the reason for this change in behaviour is that a new "token" parameter was added to the MediaWiki watch/unwatch API (see here). The default watch/unwatch button action includes this token parameter, but the watch/unwatch menu item in your gadget does not. How easy / hard / impossible do you believe it would be to update the gadget's watch/unwatch function to match the current default action? — Richwales 20:53, 21 June 2012 (UTC) hi i have a problem i have pain in my right side of my i think overys almost feel like a musel tearing when i turn was at gyni was on a drip whit atibi1otics helped a bit but went back dr say if i dont have pain i can go i did not have any pain then but pain back and it is in my hip to now wat can it be my period allso on off please help me — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.13.0.39 (talk) 21:41, 25 June 2012 (UTC) You are invited to the first ever Reading Wiki Meetup which will take place at Copa, 76-78 Kings Road, Reading, RG1 3BJ on Sunday 23 September 2012 from 1.00 pm. LocalizationeditHi, I want to add your tool as a gadget in fa.wikipedia but it needs some localizations. would you please add possibility to have localization? because of updating I don't want copy your code directly, thank you for your timeReza1615 (talk) 09:58, 15 February 2013 (UTC) Torus fracture listed at Redirects for discussioneditAn editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Torus fracture. There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB.
