Commons welcomes ClueBot

Hi Cobi, I see the ClueBots doing a great job and I would like to make two requests. Unsure of both can be done, but either is great.

• ClueBot-'s in #cvn-commons to report possible vandalism and do blacklist additions
• User:ClueBot @ commonswiki to revert vandalism

Please let me know what the possibilities are. Now that cross-wiki vandalism is happening more and more, and now that the CVN-channels are properly sharing a global blacklist, running a bot like ClueBot on Commons (which is more cross-wiki intergrated than any other wiki) sounds almost natural and will greatly contribute to the vandalism mess on Commons. Hi, I noticed that you have two pages in this category, your main user page and User:Cobi/egapresu siht tide t'nod esaelP (love that title!)... it's probably best to only be in one time, if possible. Fixed. The page is named such so the transclude on my userpage (try to edit my userpage) works. (It confuses simple vandals, since all they see is {{Please don't edit this userpage/}} which is on a protected page. Please update ClueBot- in #cvn-wp-en

Hi Cobi, Since a fair while now the CVN-bots are taking commands by their nickname. This was done because some big channels like #cvn-sw have multiple bots in it. This has been for several months. #cvn-wp-en still ran an older version of the bot that listened to 'computer' but it had to eventually be updated in order to prevent other errors in the global list database. Can you please update the bot to command 'rcbot' instead of 'computer' ? Krinkle (talk) 00:54, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
