Noah's Ark : Skeptical objections
editYou are right - truly the article rambles and is disjointed, and I like the title of the section: "The Flood as Purported History" as a home for a lot of the gabby stuff about objections and replies.
Now for some good dialogues, see Plato, or George Bernard Shaw's Man and Superman - these guys knew how to make philosophical questions glow with dialogue I would not call "concocted."
I am frightened by that number 59% you give, but I believe it. I read someplace that 40% or more of Americans believe we never landed on the Moon. And then G.W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld seemingly paid a large sum of money to Mr. Rocco Martino, a discredited Italian businessman and former purveyor of so-called "spy data" to the French and to the Italian intelligence service (SISMI), as recompense for providing fake documents saying that Iraq had bought yellowcake Uranium from Niger.
"Oh when will they ever learn."

- Do you think you might fix up Noah's Ark soon? I think you can do it with less friction than occurs when I do it. Thanks Carrionluggage 17:28, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
Great quote on your user page. :) tregoweth 19:16, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
I think I'll add to that. I saw your involvement on the talk page of Munich, and am pleased to see someone as cool-headed on such a tumultuous page. Edward Grefenstette 11:42, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:25, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 12
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Richard Bandler, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mother Jones (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
