editHello, I'm Dwpaul. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Broward County Transit, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Hi Dwpaul. Please restore the page, as I am an employee of Broward County Transit, attempting to update content about the agency on this page. The point of reference going forward will be our website at Broward.org/BCT. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Broward County Transit (talk • contribs) 20:43, 17 March 2015
- Please review my above post about your username; you will need to change it to one that identifies you as an individual(such as "John Doe at Broward County Transit") as usernames cannot be that of an organization solely. I would also suggest you review the conflict of interest policy, and if you are being paid to edit Wikipedia you will need to review the policy on paid editing. 331dot (talk) 20:47, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
- The existing Web link for BCT is correct and formatted correctly: http://www.broward.org/bct/. The ridership figures you supplied were grossly incorrect; 2.6+ million riders per weekday? Not per http://www.broward.org/BCT/Reports/Pages/Facts.aspx. More on the order of 132,000. The infobox does not support a directors parameter. Also please see WP:COI, WP:CORPNAME and the message above. You should not be editing this Wikipedia page as an employee of Broward County Transit. Dwpaul Talk 20:48, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
- P.S. - If you (once you have sorted out the username issue) would like to propose updates and changes for other editors to make, you can do so at the article's Talk page. Dwpaul Talk 20:56, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.
