On 10 June 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article DanTDM: Trayaurus and the Enchanted Crystal, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that after releasing DanTDM: Trayaurus and the Enchanted Crystal, author Dan Middleton was the first writer in 2016 to sell out tickets to his event at the Cheltenham Literature Festival? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/DanTDM: Trayaurus and the Enchanted Crystal. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, DanTDM: Trayaurus and the Enchanted Crystal), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Could you please look into SubRE's editing history, he is vandalising pages I've created and it all seems fishy, my full real details social networking profiles and phone number will be given to you if asked Asouko (talk) 10:48, 14 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
- I've looked into it. Now, I will have to disagree with you that SubRE is vandalizing articles you started. He's not: he is nominating them for deletion, which is something entirely else. His concerns seem to be centered around the theme of non-notability. Which is - in most of the cases - not unwarranted. You have responded with comments that do not always contain arguments to keep certain articles, but borderline on ad hominems (here, for example). Therefore: I'm very sorry, but I'm not inclined to interfere with SubRE's behaviour. What he's doing doesn't seem outrageous to me, so I have to apply good faith and say there's not something 'fishy' going on.
- One thing he's contented and you haven't elaborated on, is that he said that you are a member of Phase (band). Is that true? —♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 12:28, 14 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
So sorry about that, but I didn't use it in a derogatory way. We're I come from ignorant means lack of knowledge on a subject and it's within the limits of political correctness. MusicPatrol (talk) 19:22, 19 July 2017 (UTC) MusicPatrol (talk) 19:22, 19 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
- I'm aware of what ignorant means, and it's generally not a kind term to just toss at somebody because they want an article deleted you would like to keep. Differences of opinion happen, and that doesn't mean the other side is ignorant. But my warning wasn't just for that term: you also said an editor made it "personal" when he was simply citing Wikipedia policy. You told hem "You don't know anything about music" and you strongly implied that said person was not an expert. All of that is uncivil, and seems contrary to WP:AGF. —♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 20:07, 19 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
You are right on the fact that I was a bit harsh, but he would ignore the messages on his talk page and he would have tunnel vision on his thing... It seems that he only hanged around there only to remove that article not even knowing how to use the tags, that simply demonstrated bad faith to me... He would only reply to other editors comments and he would ignore me. And make accusations based on nothing, that I am member and promoter of the band, or whatever. It all started when I would remove one of his tags reasoning it and leaving him a message and then we would play the add remove game in loop, That's not respectful behaviour either... Anyway I do apologise, and thank you for taking the time to moderate the conversation! I deeply appreciate it. By the way, I didn't imply you don't know what it means, I meant semantics differ from country to country and region to region... Hello, I got a message that I have a DYK proposal not connected:
Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/Bazilije Pandžić at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; if you would like to continue, please link the nomination to the nominations page as described in step 3 of the nomination procedure. (see full message here).
This is my submission: Template:Did you know nominations/Bazilije Pandžić. Can you please help me with step 3. I do not know what to do there. I know better in the German Wikipedia, unfortunately not in the English, where I have published only a few articles. Greets from Germany -- Triplec85 (talk) 18:25, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Nightwish-highhopes.ogg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 11:23, 14 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for uploading File:Over Hills Far Away.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 6 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi Amberrock,
"In the 2009 election the party won 15 seats, its most to date, making it the third largest party in the antepenultimate Knesset". The way I understand this, the antepenultimate Knesset is the 19th Knesset that was formed after the legislative elections of January 2013. That's why, I chose to slightly amend the aforementioned passage. Are we on the same page here? Shams lnm (talk) 16:40, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
At a second (more diligent) reading, I realized that the antepenultimate phrasing is correct (but, in my opinion, it is a tad confusing as well). Thus, I wrote: “In the 2009 election, the party won 15 seats, its most to date, making it the third largest party in the antepenultimate (i.e., 18th) Knesset”. Do you agree with this adjustment? Cheers, Shams lnm (talk) 17:27, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

This message was sent to all administrators following a recent motion. Thank you for your attention. For the Arbitration Committee, Cameron11598 03:01, 4 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
ArbCom would like to apologise and correct our previous mass message in light of the response from the community.
Since November 2018, six administrator accounts have been compromised and temporarily desysopped. In an effort to help improve account security, our intention was to remind administrators of existing policies on account security — that they are required to "have strong passwords and follow appropriate personal security practices." We have updated our procedures to ensure that we enforce these policies more strictly in the future. The policies themselves have not changed. In particular, two-factor authentication remains an optional means of adding extra security to your account. The choice not to enable 2FA will not be considered when deciding to restore sysop privileges to administrator accounts that were compromised.
We are sorry for the wording of our previous message, which did not accurately convey this, and deeply regret the tone in which it was delivered.
For the Arbitration Committee, -Cameron11598 21:03, 4 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
