Hi, I'm a father, teacher, amateur historian and rock music connoisseur. I was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin, raised on a dairy farm in Ithaca, Wisconsin. In the summer of 1970, I memorized all of the US presidents at the age of 7. My love of American & European History continues to this day. I graduated from Ithaca High School located seven miles east of Richland Center, and my graduating class was 29 people.
Son of the late Michael J. Schauf & Maxcine J. Schauf. My father and mother were successful dairy farmers. Michael S. served on the boards for Ithaca Schools (1959-1975) and Tri-State Breeders (for well over 10 years, into the 80s).
Tri-State was a successful cooperative made up of Holstein sires who impregnated Holstein cows via artificial insemination across the US and other nations, and, in turn, improved Holstein livestock. Improvement occurred by purchasing the best bulls that they could afford and selling semen to farmers who would breed their Holstein heifers and cows to outstanding bulls owned by Tri-State.
After 1 year at Edgewood College, VS enrolled at University of Wisconsin and graduated with Honors at University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse (in 1987) with a major in Broadfield Social Studies and a minor in History. Was ceritified to teach: psychology, sociology, political science and economics with a minor in history.
Moved to Chicago in 1989 where I taught in the Chicago Archdiocese for 2 years before deciding to become a paralegal. For 26 years, VS was a paralegal working for various law firms practicing tort law. I retired from being a paralegal in 2017.
I'm also a retailer on the web, I sell a wider range of goods @ eBay - see http://myworld.ebay.com/qualityservice44 and the same goods more cheaper on BONANZA - see http://www.bonanza.com/booths/reliableproducts81

I am the father of 3 - 3 adults - Andy (26), Ted (23) and Brianna (20).
I decided to become a "writer" at Wikipedia, because I want to write entries concerning rock music, history and Christianity. Concerts I have seen include, but are not limited to: Rush, Veruca Salt, The Go-Gos, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, The Subdudes, The Charlatans and Traffic. I enjoy the regional powerhouse band Infinity which plays many gigs in the southern suburbs of Chicago as well as other places. I am also related to the members of the rock band [Catchpenny].
