David R. Foster (born c. 1920) is an English director and professor of ecology at Harvard University.[1] He was well known for turning a group of female golfers into actresses back in 1977.[2] In 1999 he studied the effect of a tiny alien insect called the Hemlock woolly adelgid in Connecticut, and said "It is a real ecological catastrophe".[3]
