Who Am I
editHello,
I'm a real fan of sharing knowledge, and am excited to contribute to Wikipedia where I can. Some my interests and areas of which I am an avid student are:
- Triple Jump and Long Jump -- consulting track coach, former competitor at high school, university level
- Digital and 35mm film photography (collector and user of all-manual SLRs, Nikon dSLRs)
- Martial arts -- Shotokan, Aikido
- Cutlery -- avid follower of the knife industry, including Chris Reeve Knives, Kershaw, Benchmade, Spyderco, Victorinox, and several custom makers
- Electronics and integrated circuit design -- BSEE, MSEE, with emphasis on circuit design
- Project management process -- over 14 years experience as an R&D project and program manager
- Color science-- Former color science program manager in a laser printer R&D lab, 3 digital imaging patents awarded
- Product reliability -- lots of experience breaking things, and studying how things break.
- Japanese-American history
- Percussion, including rudimental snare drumming, jazz/funk, and Taiko (Japanese drumming) -- former private drum instructor, player at high school and college level, founder of Taiko group
I hope I can be a strong contributor to Wikpedia.
Best regards,
Jumpcoach
