Wire journalist interested in writing articles about prominent journalists around the world.
Note that I am no longer active on Wikipedia as I cannot cope anymore with the 'kings of the hill' that rule it. In addition, I disagree with Wikipedia's condition of notability for publishing as it relies on subjective judgment. What's not notable for someone might indeed be notable for someone else. Too many times while researching someone/something, I have bumped into pages deleted for lack of notability.
More specifically when it comes to journalists, I disagree with the rule of having to provide second-hand information, since the latter are by essence news providers and not news makers. Yet, because of the role of journalists in any democratic system, it's a pre-requisite to be able to access information about their backgrounds. I think Wikipedia should have been a primary source of information about all journalists. No information should ever be deleted unless it's untrue.
