Three Women at the Spring (Picasso)

(Redirected from Three Women at the Spring)

Three Women at the Spring is an oil painting by Pablo Picasso in the Neoclassical style.[1] It was painted in the summer of 1921 in Fontainebleau, France, at the same time he painted Three Musicians. Three Women at the Spring features three young women posed at a fountain.[2][3] Picasso uses the three women's hand gestures to establish mood and suggest ritual.[1]
