Usage
editThe reenactment group template may be added at the top of all articles for historical reenactment groups, umbrella groups, alliances, etc. The syntax is as follows:
{{Infobox reenactment group

|period=
|earliest=
|latest=
|special=
|mems=
|alliance=
|umb=
|parent=
|groups=
|url=
}}
General parameters:
- title - the name or title of the group (usually also the article title).
- est - the year in which the reenactment group was founded.
- location - the location(s) in which the reenactment group operates or has operated.
- period - the general period portrayed.
- earliest - the earliest year portrayed.
- latest - the latest year portrayed.
- special - any specialties of the group.
- mems - number of reenactors involved with the group.
- alliance -
- umb - indicate an umbrella group or groups of which the reenacting group in question is a member.
- parent - indicate a parent group to the reenacting group in question.
- groups - indicate member groups of the reenacting group in question. This can be a number (e.g. 30) indicating the number of member groups, or they might be individually listed, particularly if member groups have their own Wikipedia articles.
- url - the URL of the group's website.
To avoid needlessly cluttering up articles, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
