When exactly do the reigns start?
editWhen exactly do the reigns start? Some say they start when they're aired on TV, others when they actually happen, when they get taped. For example, did Deuce and Domino win the titles and become champions on April 17, or April 20? WWE.com lists it at April 20, yet some are saying it's April 17. I checked and couldn't find an answer at WP:PW. Is there a general consensus? Anakinjmt 22:22, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- Although we don't add the title change until it airs in the US, when it does we list when the title change happened. SmackDown! was taped on April 17th so that is when the title change happened. Therefore Deuce 'N Domino have been Tag Team champions for 4 days now. -- bulletproof 3:16 22:37, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Deuce 'N Domino Tag Champs.jpg
editImage:Deuce 'N Domino Tag Champs.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The Miz and John Morrison
editshouldn't it be said their the 2nd longest tag team in the WWE tag team history —Preceding unsigned comment added by Supermike (talk • contribs) 15:59, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- No. If they beome the longest reigning, then yes. Until then it stays off the page. Thanks, ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 17:04, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Shortest Reign
editumm Just to say. I think your wrong with the shortest reign as Batista & Rey Mysterio actually held the titles only for a week (7 days) as they won them on the smackdown before armageddon 2005 and lost them a week later —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.153.17.89 (talk) 21:43, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
- No, they held them for 14 days. –LAX 22:21, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Really? Was there one of those Best of 2005 and then the following week it was the match? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.153.17.89 (talk) 23:16, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Current Champions
editSince the title change has not aired yet, shouldn't Ryder and Hawkins still be listed as the current champions? —Preceding unsigned comment added by HidyHoTim (talk • contribs) 10:11, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- No. Wikipedia allows spoilers, per WP:SPOILER, as long as there is a reliable source to back it up. Which is what we have. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 16:10, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- WrestleView? Since when has that become a reliable source? WWEISREAL 19:12, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Unified WWE Tag Team Titles
editWhy does wwe refer to the belts as unified rather tha undisputed.Sid 4x (talk) 22:19, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
- Nobody but WWE would know that answer. Also, Wikipedia is not a forum. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 00:37, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
- The titles have been unified, like in the boxing world. They are not "undisputed" because the claim on them are not "in dispute" Jericho was the "Undisputed" champ years ago because the WWF/E and WCW titles have a common lineage that came from a disputed match decades ago where the WWWF left the NWA because of said dispute.Ciderbarrel (talk) 00:39, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Wrong it was called the Undisputed Championship because There was no oter World Heavyweight CHampionships in existance during the Time the Jericho unified the two belts there for the WWE could legitimatly claim the the new wwe title as Undisputed where as now there are multiple world titles in the wrestling world. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.93.167.109 (talk) 01:08, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- The last comment is correct, in a way. There was no major world title back then. The NWA Title could still be considered a world title, but the NWA was not in the mainstream at that time. Today the Unified WWE Tag Titles can't be undisputed since there is the NWA World Tag Team Titles, the TNA World Tag Titles, the IWGP Tag Titles, etc. Though that would probably not stop the WWE and their holier than though attitude.--WillC 03:47, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Actually both Ciderbarrel and the IP were correct the. The WWWF/NWA event was part of the dispute. --UnquestionableTruth-- 04:11, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
To answer the question, it's because that's what they decided to name it this year. Mshake3 (talk) 04:13, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Somehow... that is also correct... and the more accurate response.--UnquestionableTruth-- 04:15, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Likewise.--WillC 05:55, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Should the Unified Tag team championship get its own page? Or should it be treated like the old undisputed WWE Championship and just stay on the same page as its respective predessesor? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.93.167.109 (talk) 21:23, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- Well according to the title histories on WWE.com, neither title has been retired, which means that they are technically still separate titles defended simultaneously. Its weird but that’s just the way it is.--UnquestionableTruth-- 22:05, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
The titles live
editIn the history be sure to explain that the currently used 2002 WWE tag titles Tag Team titles can trace lineage and are the sucessors to the now retired World Tag Team titles because of previous unification —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.239.78.164 (talk) 23:26, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Nexus as champs.
editQuestion:
Just wanting some clarification on something that seems likely to happen:
Should Wade Barrett come out and say something like the tag belts will be defended under "Nexus Rules" or something similar, will we recognize all Nexus members as champs a la The Freebirds, Demolition, or the Spirit Squad?

- Weak support' per my reasoning on Talk:WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. It would have been useful to have one discussion for all instead of all of these separate RMs.LM2000 (talk) 03:30, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose, it's fine the way it is. You don't need to drop the WWE from it. It's still WWE Raw. (talk page stalker) CrashUnderride 04:55, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
Oppose After thinking about this WWE should be in the Articles title. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 05:13, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
Comment, after Raw changed the WWE Tag Team Championship to "Raw Tag Team Championship", I am also thinking about opposing the move. I am about to convince myself that it's probably just fine the way it is for now. User:Mclovin'tosh (talk) 14:32, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
Oppose as per Crash Underride. There is no sufficient evidence that the WWE is dropped (such a constantly changing list on WWE.com that might well use short forms for brevity's sake is not eough). Also, editors should be much slower to move articles. Currently, the opposite is true. Str1977 (talk) 17:11, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
Oppose per Str1977. Feedback 02:13, 12 September 2016 (UTC)

Identity of new Raw Tag Team Champion "Nicholas" revealed
editRumours had been floated that Nicholas may be Shane McMahon's son or Jon Stewart's son being masqueraded as a fan, but Brad Shepard of Bodyslam.net has now confirmed Nicholas does have a WWE employee as a relative - official John Cone. John Cone's wiki pagee already mentions that his son is Raw Tag Team Champion so I feel that links for Nicholas should be redirected to John Cone's Wikipedia page - 2A02:C7F:C243:E200:44C4:E184:5E01:C446 (talk) 09:41, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- Thats all it is right now, a rumor. Once we get an official release on it we can. Nicholas is a very common fist name. Unfortunately you can't have a unsourced source... many reliable sources don't knowGvstaylor1 (talk) 14:49, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
Hardy/Wyatt
