This reads as a pure advertisement. With some work, it might be a valid article. It also reads as if it's a copyright violation but I haven't tagged it as such as I didn't find the exact text with a quick google search. The references to current events (e.g. open days) should be removed and this article should be rewritten as a factual, neutral point of view, article. Brian 11:12, 30 June 2006 (UTC)btballReply

Writing as a Marjon alumnus (92-95), I agree entirely. From an alternative perspective, the 'About the Area' section might read something like:

'The Marjon campus is stuck in the middle of nowhere, six miles out of town. If you live in one of the campus halls I hope you're an early riser, because when they're revving up aeroplanes at the airport next door for the 6am flights to London, you're sure as hell going to hear it! In your first year you'll probably be living in one of said halls, but in years 2 and 3 you'll be four miles away in Mutley or Stonehouse, with an expensive and time-consuming commute to deal with.'

And for the introductory section, we need an empirical narrative starting from its origins in the London colleges, leading through to the relocation to Plymouth in the '70s, the affiliation with Exeter and so on and so forth. I might try to write it if I ever get the time... —Preceding unsigned comment added by LDGE (talkcontribs) 01:45, 16 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
