"finalized by treatment of with" does not make sense. Scheme 3 states that the product was (+-)-totarol but the text states (+)-totarol. Total enantioselective synthesis - The Wittig reaction between 11 & 12 did not form any rings and was not a cyclization. Typos - achieved with complete sterEoselectivity & totarane diAStereomers There does not appear to have been any rearrangement going from 17 to 18. Scheme 4 - what is PH3P in 12?
