editThe intro sentence is copied from German-American relations. How cheap is that? 68.215.97.231 05:11, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Under "Political relations" it says "Sweden opposed the 2003 invasion of Iraq. However, it has provided some weaponry during the conflict". The Swedish government did not provide the weaponry, a weapons manufacturer did. The passage should be deleted! --213.50.53.226 (talk) 07:36, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the Swedish government (which does not own any weapon producing companies afaik) needs to approve of all weapons export to foreign countries so the statement may not be entirely incorrect. /Slarre (talk) 11:56, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
List of visits
editThe list should be expanded with the actual state visits to the US, i.e., visits by the Monarch. Tomas e (talk) 19:47, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
NPOV
editThere should be some information about American companies bribing politicians, MPAA list of demands, Assange debacle etc. The espionage and anti-terrorism programs should be mentioned. Also, it should not be stated that Sweden is neutral, when the country is clearly allied with US and is e.g. hostile to Russia. 92.81.68.66 (talk) 20:19, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
Extradition
editIt would be very interesting to know if any extradition agreements between the United States and Sweden exist. Especially given the international hype over Julian Assange. 68.12.145.240 (talk) 22:59, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Number of volunteers
editI edited the number of Swedish volunteers serving in the American War of Independence. The earlier figure, which claimed that thousands of Swedes volunteered, was frankly absurd. Nowhere in the cited does it state that thousands of Swedes participated, or even a figure close to that. Instead it in turn cites various earlier estimates which range from 64 to "over one hundred". The wikipedia entry of "thousands of volunteers" seems to have been added in May of 2013, but not given this citation until January 2020 (an earlier citation incorrectly referenced the Civil War instead).
