editExcuse me, Soy Nuts are "not roasted soybeans?" Pray tell, exactly what are they then?
The American soybean association claims that is what they are: http://www.asaasc.com/soy-nuts.htm
According to the FDA, "soy nuts" certainly "appear" to be roasted soybeans.

In fact, I followed the original reference provided on the page to the young women's health center, and IT claimed that soy nuts are soybeans roasted and baked. I replaced the erroneous text with the exact wording from the cited page.

"Not roasted soybeans."
editThe above discussion, I think, is correcting something that was actually correct, although both citations are now gone; I'm fairly sure soynuts are actually roasted edamame, or soybeans in the "snap" phase. Technically soybeans, yes, but not what most people think of when they think of the beans. Am I wrong? Twin Bird (talk) 17:48, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
