Prose and NPOV
editThis article has two main issues:
- It uses a timeline format when it should use prose (this is a historical period in the tech industry).
- It relies on single sources for many events, even major ones that many people commented on. Some of these single sources are opinion pieces, rather than news. In other cases, it uses only opinion pieces and official press releases. It doesn't provide background on the sources/commentators it uses, and their POVs and financial ties. This hurts NPOV.
Inappropriate, unreferenced material (re 2002-2008)
editI have reverted twice[1][2] the addition of unreferenced material by an IP user [3][4]. I don't think the information relates to "Smartphone wars" and, in addition, no reference has been provided. If somebody thinks that the information would belong to the article if it was properly sourced, please let me know. --Edcolins (talk) 19:46, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
Is 2013 incomplete?
editIt strikes me as highly implausible that only one suit has been filed or one result has occurred in 2013. I am attaching an expansion template. If anyone has reason to believe that it's not needed, then they may remove it. JustinBlank (talk) 03:28, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
Trouble archiving links on the article
editHello. I am finding myself repeatedly archiving links on this page. This usually happens when the archive doesn't recognize the archive to be good.
This could be because the link is either a redirect, or I am unknowingly archiving a dead link. Please check the following links to see if it's redirecting, or in anyway bad, and fix them, if possible.
