Ampersand in official name
editFor some reason User:Duncharris changed the article name to have "and" instead of "&", the ampersand. However, it looks to me like it should in fact be "&" as it was originally - see the company's website. Duncharris, who appears to no longer contribute to Wikipedia, changed many article names in the same way (see Special:Contributions/Duncharris), and some have been changed back again. Does anybody object if I change this article's name back again (to show the "&")? If nobody objects in the next week or so, I'll go ahead and reinstate the "&". - While not wishing to speak ill of the dearly departed, Mr. Harris in this case as in many others he was wrong and imposed his personal view on Wikipedia, even though it was against policy. I have gone ahead and moved the article to its correct title. Gwernol 02:29, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking on the responsibility there, Gwernol - I was treading a bit carefully as I could see this sort of change had been a bit sensitive. Cheers, A bit iffy 16:47, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Fact box
editPlease can someone alter the length of the Railway - it is around 2 miles long.
Also, I've added a few bits of text and stuff but how do I go about adding photos and descriptions of the rolling stock?
Thanks,
Paul Best Press Officer, Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway
Update needed
editThe article needs to be updated. Some things that are now in the past are referred to in the future tense, and some events don't have the year included in the date. --Zabdiel (talk) 09:36, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Sittingbourne Viaduct
editThis article repeatedly states the notability of Sittingbourne Viaduct, but no pictures of this are included. Perhaps a picture of the viaduct should be included? (Possibly even as the lead photograph to give better context). —Sladen (talk) 09:31, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- It's not exactly the most photogenic viaduct in the world. The best I could find is this ([1]) on the Geograph website, and I really don't think it's a candidate to replace the infobox image we have at present. The article is, after all, about the railway, not about the viaduct.
- Unfortunately, the Geograph2Commons tool isn't working at the moment, so I was unable to upload this particular image. There is another image of the viaduct already at Wikimedia Commons ([2]), but I'm not sure it's worth using. Skinsmoke (talk) 10:40, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
