– Per WP:COMMONNAME. Sources after his death show an overwhelming preference for "Shawn Barber". I have seen very little sources saying Shawnacy Barber. Sources saying Shawn Barber include AP, CNN, USA Today, The Guardian, and more. Additionally, people close to him call him "Shawn" (per AP source). Support Shawn is the WP:COMMONNAME for both people, and over a long period of time (i.e. ignoring the spike of views around the date of the pole vaulter's death), there doesn't seem to be a clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Joseph2302 (talk) 10:19, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
