Opening theme song

edit

This is apparently titled Live Like Legends. It is performed by Ruelle (singer) who also performs Until We Go Down, the opening theme of The Shannara Chronicles. UWGD is also played during the climax of the season 2 finale of Legends (TV series) during an escape scene. 184.145.18.50 (talk) 13:14, 5 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

– The title of the show is Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments not Shadowhunters, because it was used in the show and the same from the IMDb website — it instead appears to be an original research addition for some reason other than actual title accuracy. On more than one occasion now, an anonymous IP has gone around Wikipedia actively breaking links to this article by prematurely rewording them to the correct title despite the fact that it makes them redlinks, so I'm submitting this for discussion on their behalf since they likely don't know how to do it themselves — but if this is going to keep happening, then the title needs to be fixed. 110.159.10.127 (talk) 05:15, 28 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Oppose The show is known per its common name as Shadowhunters; Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments is an alternative name. Further examples would be any of the Marvel television series that have "Marvel's" at the start of their name, but their articles are not named as such. If any sort of action is required, then the latter link should becomestay a redirect to this page, but that's as far as any move should be. Many reliable sources that are found in this article refer to the show as simply Shadowhunters; IMDb is not considered a reliable source on Wikipedia, as it is user-edited. Oppose Both FutonCritic and Freeform themselves seem to be fine with it as just plain Shadowhunters so unless there's just a plethora of additional reliable sources that list it otherwise, I say we leave it. --Joeyconnick (talk) 00:45, 29 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
Oppose move. (This IP again???) It's clear that Shadowhunters is the common name.  ONR  (talk)  04:57, 29 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
Merged in duplicate nomination by same IP on talk page of episode list. Pppery 13:58, 29 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
Oppose. WP:COMMONNAME; even though Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments is one of the official names, most sources do not refer to the series using the title. Blue Adventure (talk) 17:16, 29 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
Oppose – Even Freeform calls it just "Shadowhunters", and it's clearly the common name. nyuszika7h (talk) 17:48, 29 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Ruelle (this show's theme song singer) nominated for deletion

edit

Ruelle (singer), the singer of the main/opening theme song for Shadowhunters, has been nominated for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ruelle (group), if anyone involved with this article might be interested in weighing in. —Lowellian (reply) 00:22, 10 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
