Marriage and children
editThis section does not, as it stands, make mention of children. It is said that he also married, after 30 May 1393, Marrion \Mariotta Or Mor Campbell of Lochaw, and that they had four or more children:
1. Lachlan Bronnach 7th Chief of Maclean, b. Abt 1387, d. Aft 12 Apr 1463, Or 1472 2. Mary Maclean, who married Alexander Macdonald, 4th of Glengarry 3. John Dubh Maclean, 4. ??? Maclean (who apparently had many descendants.
His eldest son was taken prisoner at the battle of Harlaw in 1411, and detained in captivity a long time by the Earl of Mar.
It seems the marriage to the former Lady Douglas was childless.
I am unable to provide definitive sources for this information, so leave it to those more knowledgeable to correct either the title or the detail therein. Shipsview (talk) 18:51, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
