History of formation needed. Is it a renaming of an old town or a completely new one? By the way, in my opinion, a note on how the locals call the town should be written too. The name is, for me, quite unique among town names in the Philippines. Jordz

President Manuel A. Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte → Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte – As per WP:CONCISE and possibly WP:COMMONNAME. As per Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines/Archive47#Moving forward on barangays plus some MOSPHIL discussion, the arguement against the move is that the Philippine Statisctics Authority uses the full name, but arguably we don't have to always follow what is official; especially that the proposed new article name (Roxas) is just a shorthand of the official name and isnt radically different (e.g. Montalban/Rodriguez).
- Sources that uses "Roxas"
- Official LGU website (also uses the full name)
- Philippine News Agency - "Police has launched manhunt operations to recapture four Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) who bolted from a detention facility in the Zamboanga del Norte town of Roxas Thursday."
- ABS-CBN - The province (sic) of Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte will rely one of their proud sons to be the head coach of the Vanguards for the upcoming Mindanao Leg of the 2021 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup.
- BusinessWorld Meanwhile, one more line will be opened in Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte before the year ends. It will have a total of two lines each producing two million bags every month.

- Support, I guess, per WP:COMMONNAME. Mendez, Cavite's official name is Mendez-Nuñez but its article is located at Mendez, Cavite. —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 03:32, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
