I believe "Super Freaky Girl" and "Red Ruby da Sleeze" should be mentioned as being included in the album, as this source from Nicki Minaj states herself. However, my additions were reverted despite providing a source. Flabshoe1 (talk) 19:42, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

Third album cover

There is a third alternate album cover on the signed CD's that Minaj revealed recently. It is very similar to the first one, however, she has a different hairstyle and she is standing in a different position. The photo can be found here via Instagram. Cdineen757 (talk) 17:24, 23 October 2023 (UTC)

Edit War

@Ajcalifornia, instead of edit warring please explain here on the talk page what you would like changed on the page, what sources and information you would like added. Currrently, the version you keep reverting back to has:

• Unformatted sources
• Vogue is not "promotion" for the album. "Promotion" is live performances, tour, singles, etc. Could be mentioned in the background and development perhaps?
• Removal of the photo. Why? It definitely works on the page to be a part of the section.

Please keep WP:FANCRUFT and WP:OWNER in mind and saying things such as "I WILL KEEP REVERTING BACK TO THIS VERSION" is considered as edit warring which is against Wikipedia policies. Maxwell King¹²³³²¹ 23:21, 28 April 2024 (UTC)

Once again, @Ajcalifornia, your Vogue article is NOT promotion for the album. Minaj only teases the album during the interview. Instead of edit warring, you may have noticed I have added the Vogue source into the "Background and development" section where it fits better. If we were to put the Vogue source into promotion, it would not for starters have its own sub-section. Regardless, the Vogue article was done before the album's release. Maxwell Vogue is most certainly PROMO it was used by Nicki during her weekly "PINK FRIDAY SURPRISES" before the album drop and is the biggest one. That section has been around for months since the album drop I dont know why you can come in now and remove it? The only reason she did the Vogue cover for DECEMBER is for it to be PROMO and in line with the album. Whats not clicking? Whats not more impressive and wide spread promotion than a Vogue US cover??? Can you source these "Pink Friday Surprises"? Otherwise, it does not work in that section at all. I have incorporated it along with some new sources to the "Release" section show casing everything thats leading up to the release (Vogue, delays, etc.) Additionally, your version [1] has the wrong source, wrongfully says Tyga and Ariana Grande participated in the Gag City campaign (the source doesn't even say this), and gives superfluous information and WP:PEACOCK language saying she is the "first female rapper to grace the solo cover of US Vogue". Neither of those sources (Billboard and HipHopDX) mention Minaj's Vogue appearance as a part of these "Pink Friday Surprises". The sources mention that Minaj planned to "make every Friday from now until the album drops a special Pink Friday". I suggest that this could be mentioned at the top of the promotion section otherwise calling it "Pink Friday Surprises" would not make any sense + that title is not sourced therefore a whole section for it is not warranted. AJCalifornia, "Pink Friday Surprises" is not a well known facet of Minaj's promotion and rollout for the album. Other things like "Gag City" which made multiple headlines as a very good marketing stunt deserve to be included in the article, but you have not made a convincing argument so far for "Pink Friday Surprises" being included in the article. It actually is and if you go to her Twitter page or Instagram you would realize that it was an essential part of the roll-out and could be easily fact checked. Clearly you did not keep up with the whole rollout nor do you follow her otherwise you would have known.

You would have also known that every major release leading up to the album (Vogue cover, multiple vinyl announcements, tour announcement, tour pre-sale, alternate album covers, bundle sales, Bahm Bahm surprise drop, For All The Barbz freestyle, etc) were ALL Pink Friday Surprises dropped on a specific Friday leading up to the album. Tell me how it makes sense to include it in "Release" when the first two paragraphs of that section date back to 2022 and have nothing to do with actual release of the album. Vogue has nothing to do with release, and everything to do with PROMOTION. Release means the actual RELEASE of the album -- ie December 8th -- and beyond. Clearly you do not understand the correct flow of a cohesive page or what to place where. The page was well-organized and informative before you came and made a mess of it with your lazy edits.

I am planning on restructuring the page to restore its cohesive flow and timeline along with relevant details that need to be added. That will be done whether you agree or not, cause last I checked Wiki rules the editors need to reach a compromise and agree on an edit everyone sees fit and clearly you are not honoring that. What you're doing is basically doing it your way and deleting everything you do not want to add. The page has become a mess and the sections are beyond confusing.

I have no issues escalating this issue until this mess is resolved. Until then, I will keep editing and changing as I see fit because the page was perfect before you showed up and ruined it. Ajcalifornia (talk) 07:28, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

I may have to start an RFC or take this to ANI because you are coming across as very rude and almost hostile. Additionally, you saying "last I checked Wiki rules the editors need to reach a compromise and agree on an edit" is interesting because you're the only one who is against it. No one reverted anything when I first edited except you which makes me think you have WP:OWN issues. Since you wanna bring up Wikipedia rules, as per WP:VERIFY, "Even if you are sure something is true, it must have been previously published in a reliable source before you can add it". Nothing of these "Pink Friday Surprises" have ever been mentioned apart from sources saying she planned to release something every Friday (which I have not objected to adding btw). Yes it would work best in the release section why wouldn't it? I have also made a compromise and said "I suggest that this could be mentioned at the top of the promotion section".

I am going to make a suggestion which hopefully leads to a compromise. Why don't we rename the Release section "Rollout" where we mention everything leading UP to the release. That way we can mention all the surprise Fridays (If they can be sourced) AND have my lead-up to the release section. Sub-headings can be "Pre-release", "Gag City" and "Release". First of all, I frankly do not care how I am coming across because you have been beyond condescending and I truly don't know who you think you are.

Second, I am fine with renaming the release section as "Rollout" where we can include all the above, along with the Pink Friday Surprises and a sub-section for Vogue with a quote from the article referring to what fans can expect on PF2 - which is very relevant here.

However I am confused as to if its rearranged and Gag City is moved to Rollout then Promotion is literally just gonna have singles left.
