Hello,
I'm afraid that there are two errors in the article : 1) He was mentionned for the first time on 5 th April 1462 in Bologna (see James H. Beck; 1965; Niccolo dell'Arca - A reexamination; Page 336). 2) I believe that there is a confusion between Italian "Monica" and "monaca". Monaca mean : church woman, nun.
