Mary Berry (writer) → ? – Mary Berry (food writer) exists, who is also English (British) as this Mary Berry is, who is also a writer, so "writer" is insufficient disambiguation to determine the topic of this article. The current title should redirect to the disambiguation page. Mary Berry (1763-1852), Mary Berry (born 1763), Mary Berry (died 1852) are some options of alternate titles, as her career spanned across a century boundary, a century disambiguator wouldn't work. -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 05:58, 20 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Also Mary Berry (writer, 1763-1852), Mary Berry (writer, born 1763), Mary Berry (writer, died 1852)

Any additional comments:
Im not sure this dab is correct. Just because we discover another Charles Dickens then we don't rename Charles Dickens. If we ve to rename for uniqueness then why not go for birth date and forget that they are writers? Victuallers (talk) 23:16, 30 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Because our core naming criteria include that a name should be recognizable; that's why people are usually disambiguated by profession or association. And perhaps this is just a bad example, but Charles Dickens is a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, and another Charles Dickens would have to become extremely prominent for us to ever rethink that. --BDD (talk) 14:11, 31 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
