Win Percentage

edit

I have no idea how to do it, but what about a win percentage in the tables like you get in the managerial history tables? Tomlock01 (talk) 16:41, 22 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

I liked your idea so Iv'e added it to the article with few fixes.

Club World Cup/Intercontinental Cup

edit

Should the results for these be included here too? VEOonefive 10:10, 14 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I personally think we should include it, as the lead and honours include it (and the first part of Overall record). But should we rename the title from European to something else, or should we stick with it as the worldwide titles are as UEFA's representatives and competitions entered once win CL.

Other European pages feature worldwide competitions, Real Madrid include a theirs in a separate section whilst Liverpool have their results in a less comprehensive season-by-season table. I think we can include the results into our table, I'll give it a go. VEOonefive 16:12, 15 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
Added them, now what about the record by country table; leave it, include these nations or make a seperate one for them? I'm inclined towards the third option but the second one is viable, especially because there was a chance we could have played Real Madrid in the 2000 CWC. Bosnia & Herzegovina/Serbia

edit

When we played opposition from these countries, they were part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Should we merge them under the Yugoslav flag or keep them seperate? VEOonefive 12:52, 16 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

we should merge tham until we face teams from one of those countries, and than seperate tham again. same as Czech Rep mention Czechoslovakia as we only played Prague teams while Slovakia doesn't.

Manchester United F.C. in European footballManchester United F.C. in international football – Manchester United had won the worldwide club competitions like FIFA Club World Cup and Intercontinental Cup, just like Liverpool and Real Madrid, they won the worldwide competitions too. Support - Manchester United have taken part in competitions contested by teams beyond just Europe. It's also important to be consistent: see Porto and AC Milan (which was successfully moved with my nomination in November) beyond those mentioned in the nomination. Support, although the key factor is that they have taken part in worldwide competitions, not that they have won them. Crowsus (talk) 00:11, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
