What does MCP stand for?
Probably many things really, but in this case it would stand for "Multi Chip Processor" ... at least that's what we designed, was a multiple chip set microprocessor. The LSI-11 design team was a group of about 15-20 individuals consisting of Managers, Circuit and Logic Engineers, Layout Designers and CAD support staff.
