"Van" names are hard to sort correctly. Do we have a confirmation that "Wely, Loek Van" is correct? FIDE has "Van Wely, Loek", although I don't think FIDE is a particularly authoritative source for this sort of information. Quale (talk) 07:21, 28 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've always thought it was the way FIDE did it, but according to Van (Dutch), he would be listed as something like "Wely, Loek van" in the phone directory. I don't know which way we usually do it. decltype (talk) 07:30, 28 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
