List of companies in order of precedence
editThe description of Worshipful Company of Carmen (no.77) as 'vehicle drivers' is not quite correct. The Carmen's story (https://thecarmen.co.uk/history/) indicates that the Guild of St Catherine, forerunners of the Carmen, was established to move goods and materials, wine, wood, and fuel, within and beyond the City. Their role was that of carrier or today's haulage company. Haynesta (talk) 19:30, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
