Individual poor law unions do not seem notable enough to have their own page. All this page states is why poor law unions existed and which parishes were included. And that information is entirely contained within the list. Wieno (talk) 04:31, 9 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Oppose an article about a poor law union is viable. Sections would include 1) Governance, including electoral arrangements, how many guardians for each parish etc, role as sanitary authority and registration district, transfer to local authority control in 1930, 2) Institutions, an account of the workhouse building(s) in the union, hospitals and other facilities, 3) Finances, the level of expenditure and poor rate, 4) Changes, where parishes were added or removed from the unions, 5) Performance, how the union was viewed by the Poor Law Board, any scandals etc., 6) Demise, what happened to the union (the buildings are probably NHS hospital sites now).
